The Upriver Running Fall Races 25K takes place in the Trowbridge Forest in Thunder Bay, Ontario, with start and finish at Kinsmen Park. The course is a single loop with short out and back sections, run primarily on single track trails with some sections of double track. Runners will travel through a variety of local trail systems including the Shuniah Mines trails, Cascades Conservation Area, Centennial Park, and Trowbridge Park trails. The course features rolling terrain, technical footing, and a mix of forested trails that require focus and steady pacing throughout. The 25K course includes approximately 370 m of elevation gain and offers a balanced challenge for both experienced trail runners and those stepping up to longer distances. Runners will have access to two aid stations located at: Balsam Access Trail Head at approximately 7.3 km Cascades Conservation Area at approximately 14.3 km This course serves as the foundation for the 50K distance, which completes the same loop twice.
