DHARAK - Nanda Didina is a short but demanding mountain trail race designed to introduce runners to the rugged terrain and technical climbing characteristic of the Central Himalayas. Starting from the mountain village of Lohajung, the route ascends sharply through dense forest trails and traditional shepherd paths toward the village of Didina. The course features sustained climbs, uneven terrain, and steep gradients, offering minimal flat running. After reaching the Didina turnaround point, runners retrace the same route back to Lohajung, navigating technical downhill sections that demand controlled pacing and strong downhill skills. This race is ideal for experienced road runners transitioning to trail running, as well as trail runners seeking a fast but physically intense mountain challenge. The course is fully marked, with mandatory cut-offs enforced at the turnaround point for runner safety.
