DHARAK - Nanda Aali Bugyal is a high-mountain trail race that takes runners deep into the iconic alpine meadows of Uttarakhand. Beginning at Lohajung, the route climbs steadily through forested trails, village paths, and steep mountain tracks before emerging onto the vast grasslands of Aali Bugyal. The terrain transitions from technical forest trails to exposed alpine sections, where weather conditions can change rapidly. The out-and-back format requires runners to maintain discipline on the outbound climb while preserving strength for the long return descent. A strict turnaround cut-off at Aali Bugyal ensures participant safety in high-altitude conditions.
