About the Race

VARDA ULTRA TRAIL EVERY TRAIL HAS ITS OWN STORY… Brought to life by the Adana Running Club (ARC), the Varda Ultra Trail is not just a race; it is a reflection of a powerful connection with nature, history, and human determination. The inspiration for this unique run is the Varda Bridge, standing tall in the heart of the Taurus Mountains, extending beyond time with its 112 years of magnificence. For over a century, this engineering masterpiece has bridged valleys, and when combined with ARC's passion for sports and deep connection to the region, it gave life to this special event. What began as an exciting first step has grown with the strength of its supporters and the enthusiasm of its participants; today, in its 3rd year, it has become one of the must-attend events on the outdoor sports calendar. Varda Ultra Trail consists of three different courses: Bridge Trail (BRT-14K): An accessible and enjoyable route for beginners Train Trail (TRT-27K): A challenging yet rewarding stage for those seeking an intermediate-level experience Varda Ultra Trail (VUT-62K): A true ultra trail experience for those who want to push their limits In this race, where every step takes you past history-soaked stones, endless landscapes, and the raw beauty of nature, you follow the path of the Varda Bridge—a celebration of the human spirit and resilience.
