The Salomon Warburton Trail Run Festival is a three day celebration of all things trail and mountain lifestyle incorporating a multitude of runs ranging from 4.5km to 50km, and includes the Golden Train National Series (22km mountain run). The festival includes a feature film screening, a trail seminar, live music and the Lilo Dash 'n Derby.

Lumberjack is a wild singletrack run in footsteps of pioneering lumberjacks. 11km undulating along an old tramway before a steep climb up 'High Lead', then an out and back to the Ada Tree one of the biggest in Australia. Undulating to Starlings Gap, where runners then take a 9km descent on singletrack, a river crossing and a final trail push into the township of Warburton and a riverside finish.
