Alergatori, iata Fagarasul! Fagaras, iata alergarea si alergatorii. Alergatorii cunosc Fagarasul în alergare, în cursele din oras, de pe promenada de pe lacul ce strajuieste Cetatea. Sau, în cursa de trail, vad panorama Tarii Fagarasului de sus: orasul, Muntii Fagaras, lunca si ”delta” Oltului, depresiunea Fagarasului, podisul Transilvan.
Runners, meet Fagaras! Fagaras, meet the runners! Let's showcase the running culture to the local community, while showcasing Fagaras to the visiting runners, through the intense&spectacular race which leads to paths with panoramic view over the City and the Citadel, over Fagaras Mountains, Olt delta, Fagaras Hollow and Transylvanian Plateau.
A spectacular cros, starting from the old Citadel, crossing the Olt river, running through the wild riverside where you can see the beavers' ”work”, a terrible ascent till the most spectacular viewpoint in the area, a wild down & up section, followed by a false flat and a long descent where you have the city at yor feet. You reach the finish line after a last run between the citadel walls and the defense lake.
Crosul Fagarasului iese si el pe deal, unde alergatorul are parte de spectacol vizual. O combinatie de alergare intinsa pe plat si fals plat cu o urcare teribila, desi scurta, ce ne duce intr-un punct de belvedere unde o sa vrei sa te-opresti pentru savurat peisajul, dar da-i inainte, ca urmeaza o coborare intinsa in care ai orasul la picioare si muntii in zare. Incheiem cu un tur pe aleea din jurul lacului de aparare al Cetatii Fagaras.
