Monte Amaro Extreme 2026

MILAZZO Race è la nuova nata in casa MAE. Un trail running che si svolge sul primo tratto della gara principale, con partenza in pieno centro a Fara San Martino. Dopo circa 1km nel centro abitato, si entra nel Parco Nazionale della Maiella, sito GeoParco UNESCO per la biodiversità ambientale e dopo il passaggio affascinante nello stretto di San Martino, si attraversano sulle tipiche mulattiere della Majella tratti panoramici e boscaglie fino a giungere alla Fonte Milazzo, primo cancello della Monte Amaro Extreme, dopo circa 9km e 1200mt D+. Quindi il ritorno per un totale di 18km.

MILAZZO Race is the NEW ENTRY to the MAE lineup. This trail running event follows the first stretch of the main race, starting in the center of Fara San Martino. After about 1km in the town center, you enter the Maiella National Park, a UNESCO Geopark for its environmental biodiversity. After a fascinating passage through the Strait of San Martino, you'll traverse the typical Majella mule tracks, passing through scenic stretches and woodland until you reach Fonte Milazzo, the first gate of the Monte Amaro Extreme, after about 9km and a 1200m elevation gain. Then, the return journey, for a total of 18km.
