About the Race

Der Mountopolis Vertical führt euch über 8,5 km und 1.250 hm zur Bergstation der Penkenbahn. Nach dem Start vor dem Gemeindeamt in Mayrhofen lauft ihr direkt in steilem Gelände Richtung Astegg. Dort angekommen, geht es nach einer kurzen, flacheren Passage weiter in den nächsten Anstieg Richtung Penken. Mit der neuen Ultraks FanZone powered by Mountopolis in Sichtweite, führt euch die letzte steile Passage mit gewaltiger Stimmung über die Skipiste ins Zielgelände.

The new Mountopolis Vertical leads you over 8.5 km and 1,250 m uphill to the Penkenbahn mountain station. After the start in front of the town hall in Mayrhofen, you run directly up steep terrain towards Astegg. Once there, after a short, flatter section, you continue on the next ascent towards Penken. With the new Ultraks FanZone powered by Mountopolis in sight, the last steep section leads you over the ski slope to the finish area. Once you arrive at the Ultraks FanZone, you can expect a great view, a great atmosphere with DJ music, moderation and well-deserved finisher refreshments.
