Previously 75km course we have made some changes to improve this race and adjusted the distance to 70km. The start line is now in Providence Bay Park, Hawks Nest and moved to 0730. From the start run down Booner St for 100m until a sharp right turn onto the Myall Park footpath. Follow this for 250m until Sanderling St where you turn right then a quick left through the dirt carpark to the back and onto the Michael Rowe Walk. At the end of the track turn left and then the second right on to single track towards Mungo Brush Rd. At the end of the single track turn left and hit Mungo Brush Rd. Stay on the road verge for 2.5km then turn left onto Pipers Creek Trail 500m down the trail turn right on the Tops to Myall Heritage Trail. Follow trail then turn right onto Tops to Myall Heritage Trail. Take trail until Mungo Brush Rd. Cross on new section of road and continue to follow trail. Where the trail meets the new section of road cross again and continue back on the trail. Loop around the Wildflower Walk back to cross Mungo Brush Rd along unnamed track and on to the beach. Then follow the beach to Dees Corner. Here cross at designated crossing and follow left hand side of the road until the Boomeri campground and CP1. From CP1 head out on Old Gibber Rd. Follow the road until the junction with Hawks Nest Seal Rocks Rd where runners will turn right and head back to Hawks Nest Seal Rocks Rd until Mungo Brush Rd Sands, turn left, then follow the road, running on the verge, until Dees Corner carpark and CP3. From CP3 stay on Mungo Brush Rd until the Dark Point carpark at the 61.5km mark water station. Here follow markers over the dunes and on to the beach. Stay on the beach for 8km until the flag at the National Park boundary where you exit the beach via a small scrub track then on to a NO access road. Follow the road until a left turn back on to the single track from the morning and follow the trails to the finish line at Providence Bay Park.
