The 5th edition of the Galiyat Mountain Trail is officially approaching, offering a unique blend of physical challenge and breathtaking natural beauty. Race Categories Whether you are a seasoned ultra-runner or a mountain enthusiast, there is a distance for you: • 60km: The ultimate endurance test. • 40km: A demanding challenge for experienced trail runners. • 20km: A fast-paced introduction to mountain racing. The Route & Experience The race takes place on the iconic trails connecting Thandiyani to Khaira Gali in the Abbottabad District of KPK, Pakistan. • Terrain: Known for soft dirt trails that are ideal for high-performance trail running. • Scenery: Experience the most scenic vistas of the Galiyat Mountains, a region famous for its lush greenery and cool mountain air. • Prestige: GMT is a proud member of the ITRA (International Trail Running Association) and is a UTMB® Index Race, allowing runners to earn world-recognized ranking points.
