Il percorso del CMUR 50 si snoda alle pendici del Cervino Matterorn (Italia e Svizzera) lungo sentieri, strade forestali, mulattiere e attraversa il ghiacciaio del Teodulo. La partecipazione è riservata ad atleti coscienti dei lunghi tempi di percorrenza e con una capacità tale da poter gestire al meglio, in autonomia, le varie problematiche che potrebbero insorgere in questa specialità quali tratti impegnativi, condizioni meteo difficili, stanchezza fisica o mentale, malesseri, problemi fisici.
The CMUR 50 route winds along the slopes of the Matterhorn, Italy and Switzerland, along trails, forest roads, and mule tracks, crossing the Theodul Glacier. Participation is reserved for athletes who are aware of the long travel times and who are capable of independently managing the various challenges that may arise in this specialty, such as challenging sections, difficult weather conditions, physical or mental fatigue, ailments, and physical problems.
