Bugyly Forest Trail starts in the town of Qarqaraly and leads runners from the urban edge into the pine forest. The course follows a narrow trail towards Mount Bugyly, then continues through open steppe terrain, dirt roads, and natural singletrack paths. After returning to the forest, the route gradually gains elevation and passes near the scenic forest lake Shaitankol. From there, runners begin the descent and continue along forest trails back towards Qarqaraly. This course combines runnable sections, steady climbs, forest paths, steppe landscapes, and technical trail segments. It is suitable for runners looking for a challenging but accessible mountain trail experience in one of Kazakhstans most beautiful natural regions.
