Malá Fatra obklopuje Strečno od nepamäti a preto sa organizátori z klubu KST UHLÍK Strečno rozhodli spojiť tieto nerozlučné dvojičky. Pripravili pre všetkých milovníkov horských ultramaratónov a diaľkových pochod toto podujatie - Strečniansku mašľu - 50 km okolo Strečna s takmer 3000 nastúpanými metrami.
Strečno and Malá Fatra mountains are the inseparable twins united in this event - Strečnianska mašľa (Strečno Bow) - a 50 km mountain ultramarathon around Strečno with almost 3,000 meters of elevation gain.
