身為越野人, 不曾忘記有多少日夜是在往終點的路上邁進. 或在豔陽或在月光下, 或者腳踏爛泥落葉, 仰或是足履亂石雪地. 終點似是遠的要命王國- Far Far Away. 在仰望天際一嘆之際,還是只能一步一腳印. 跑了一步,就是離終點進了一步,完全沒有取巧妥協. 這就是長距離越野賽的精神之ㄧ. 而期望於此賽事與中華民國超級馬拉松協會合作, 舉辦WMTRC世錦賽中華台北代表隊選拔賽的同時, 打造國內首屈一指每年一度高強度高張力賽事. 越野跑圈男女精英盡出,同時又提供安全的場域給初中階跑者一同參賽相隨學習.讓台灣越野跑圈每年檢視整體與個人實力進步的賽事. 或許, 台灣越野圈的大幅進步,就不是那麼 far far away了.
