The UTHON is the most awaited by experienced athletes who like big challenges and ultra distance, as it is the highest point of Honduras, held in the municipality of Gracias, Department of Lempira, starts in the Central Park of Gracias then enters the Celaque National Park (Villa Verde) to reach the summit. This is a great challenge for the athletes to finish in 12 hours limit with a positive elevation gain of 2,584 m and maximum altitude of 2,841 meters above sea level
