The namesake race Ohrid Ultra-Trail® is 107.2 km long with 4,932 meters elevation gain and athletes start their adventure at midnight snaking through cobblestone alleys of Ohrid old town, passing by several villages in the lower slopes of Mount Galicica to the iconic St. Naum Monastery on the south side of the Lake Ohrid.There, in the early morning tranquility of Crn Drim river sources, the first ascent towards KOTA F10 should not be underestimated. Once reached, the spectacular scenery along the route definitely compensate for all the effort and remains long in the memory - captivating landscapes of both Lake Prespa and Lake Ohrid, an UNESCO heritage region.The route follows the main ridgeline taking on trails and dirt roads in the heart of Galicica National Park all tha way to the finish line down by Ohrid town square.
