La DESAFÍO URBIÓN OPEN es una carrera de 17 km y 1200 m D+, cronometrada y con clasificación, abierta a todo el público a partir de los 16 años. Comienza en Covaleda (Soria) ascenderá a los Hornos pasara por el paraje de Jaramillo y emulará la mítica subida del Hayedo donde enlazaremos a un Refugio rodeados de pinos legendarios el Refugio de Farrista para conectar por una senda divertida a cueva Ombligo y hacer el tramo final de la Prueba Clásica Desafío Urbión para llegar a Covaleda.
The DESAFIO URBION OPEN is a competitive 17 km trail race with 1200 m of positive elevation gain. The event is timed, includes official rankings, and is open to the general public ages 16 and up. Starting in Covaleda, Soria, the course follows a scenic and challenging path. Runners will climb toward Hornos and pass through the Jaramillo landscape. The route emulates the legendary Hayedo climb, leading to the Farrista Refuge, a spot surrounded by ancient pine trees. From there, a fun single track trail connects to Cueva Ombligo. The final stretch merges with the classic Desafio Urbion course, heading back down to Covaleda.
