O Desafio Vertical é um evento de trail running que percorre trilhos do concelho de Lagoa - São Miguel - Açores. Integra duas provas de caráter competitivo, nomeadamente, o DV Trail e o DV Sprint, onde os atletas podem desfrutar das bonitas paisagens desta ilha.

Desafio Vertical is a trail running event that runs along trails in Lagoa Municipality - Sao Miguel Island - Azores. It includes two competitions, namely, the DV Trail and the DV Sprint, where athletes can enjoy the beautiful landscapes of this island.

About the Race

O DV Trail é uma prova que permite aos atletas apreciarem e desfrutarem da beleza das paisagens do concelho de Lagoa - Ilha de São Miguel - Açores. O percurso inicia-se na Ponta da Galera e termina na freguesia de Água de Pau, englobando passagens pela Ermida do Monte Santo, pelo trilho das Pedras Brancas, pelo Pico da Barrosa e pela "Janela do Inferno", mítico trilho do concelho de Lagoa.

The DV Trail is a competition that allows athletes to appreciate and enjoy the beauty of the landscapes of Lagoa - Sao Miguel Island - Azores. The route begins in Ponta da Galera and ends in Agua de Pau, encompassing passages through the Monte Santo Hermitage, the Pedras Brancas trail, the Barrosa Peak and the Janela do Inferno, mythical trail in the municipality of Lagoa.
