Welcome to the 15K BTR Ultra 2025 category! The BTRU 15K is a short-distance category, covering a total of 15.68 kilometers with an elevation gain of 933 meters and a cut-off time of 6 hours. This category is ideal for runners who are already active in running but are new to trail running. With a challenging yet accessible route, the 15K category offers a great opportunity to explore nature on a trail that is beginner-friendly. Winners in this category will be divided into two groups: Open and Masters 50+ years categories. This makes it enjoyable for all participants, including beginners who are just getting into trail running. The course is designed to be approachable, with climbs and paths that are challenging yet safe for those new to trail running. The 15K route will take runners to the summit of Mount Batur, where you’ll experience breathtaking views of the volcanic crater and the distinctive rocky, sandy terrain of Mount Batur. The route also offers a variety of paths, including pine forests, the volcanic slopes of Mount Batur, a section of black lava fields from previous eruptions, and local vegetable farms, giving you an experience that combines nature with glimpses into the local culture and way of life.
