The Rock Ultra is a trail running event taking place in Paarl, South Africa on the 7th December 2024. The event will consist of 3 races - The Boulder22, a 22km trail run, The Rock44 a 44km ultra trail marathon and The Rock Ultra which is 100km ultra trail marathon.
The Rock 44 route is a challenging but fast trail and gravel route from Ridgeback Race Village onto Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve. Runners will visit landmarks like Groot Waboomkop, Chrismas Camp, Nantes Dam, Paarl Rock and Meulwater Botanical Garden before heading back north. The descent along the world-class flow trails and onto the spectator support point at Rhebokskloof is the last replenishment before the final climb back to the Ridgeback Race village where celebration awaits!
The Rock 44 is a ultra trail mararthon of 45km over some jeep track and single track on the spectacular Parl Mountain.
