The 100 Miles is a brutally marvelous route that will start at Banaue Ethnic Village. Runners will pass thru the extreme natural landscapes of the great Ifugao villages and terraces built more than 2000 years ago and now declared as UNESCO World Heritage Sites. The route will traverse three (3) municipalities – Banaue, Hungduan, and Barlig. After passing Ki-iyang, Bocos, Poitan, and Amganad, and Balawis Villages in Banaue, runners will go down Bokiawan, the first barangay of Hungduan. They will run the mountainside part going to Hungduan Municipal Hall as they get ready to climb the whitened mountain, Mt. Hungduan – 2642 masl. They will go down via Hapao to start running the Best Cordillera Clustered Tourism Village of 2023 going to Nungulunan. Grab the chance to take a dip in the Bogyah Hot Spring in Ba-ang to relax your muscles. Runners will complete the Hungduan area and the first half of the race passing Luboong, Mt. Polis, and finally return to Banaue Ethnic Village. Exit the Ethnic Village to reach Awan-igid. Awan-igid is their gateway to the amazing Pula Village connecting the most visited villages of Cambulo and the so-called amphitheater of the Gods, Batad. But before that, runners will climb Mt. Amuyao, the highest mountain of Mt. Province, and traverse to Barlig. Take the loop route going back to Pula then proceed to Batad. Reaching Batad Village and seeing the magnificent views of the tallest listed UNESCO Heritage site in Ifugao. They will go traverse these beautiful landscapes going Awa to go down the Guitte Village passing the most beautiful backgrounds part of the route until they reach Anaba and Lanah at the highway turn right and enter Bangaan Village, also a UNESCO World Heritage site. The next villages are silent paradise until they made the loop to Poitan, Bocos, and finish at Banaue Ethnic Village.
