About the Race

96km (60 miles) and 3222mt (10,570 ft) of ascent it is one of the toughest races in the UK, certainly in the UK. That said there are views to admire, plus some of the best running terrain you'll find. The event starts and finishes at Whirlow Farm Hall in Sheffield, where there will be camping available Friday night (at a cost of £5 per tent, must be booked in advance). Toilets and changing facilities are available on site, and there will be food and drink available to purchase. There is plenty of parking available on site. The route will be marked in places but navigation/a good knowledge of the area will be necessary. Sport ident dibbing stations will be in place along the route, each of which must be visited, along with the manned aid stations. There are penalties in place for missing checkpoints – see the main website for details. The Trail Ultra:Peak District 28th August 2021, Start time: 6am
