Capac Urcu Trail Run 2019

El Capac Urcu Ultra Trail 2018 es un evento de Trail Running que se desarrolla en la Cordillera Oriental de los Andes en Ecuador, este sector del Parque Nacional Sangay está situado en la provincia de Chimborazo, Cantón Penipe en la parroquia La Candelaria, se caracteriza por tener valles y senderos con más biodiversidad de todo el país. El CUUT está dirigida a deportistas de nivel alto, una ruta exigente, desafiante pero llena de paisajes místicos con suerte podrán observar lobos y venados silvestres, lagunas hermosas y a su vez los volcanes Altar y Tungurahua, cabe recalcar que la ruta tiene subidas, bajadas y senderos técnicos sobre un terreno mixto. La largada dará inicio desde el parque central de Penipe recorriendo por los principales calles e iconos turísticos del cantón alrededor de 3 km, subirán por las escalinatas al barrio el Calvario donde tomarán el sendero de subida a la Comunidad de Shamanga, Santa Vela y 4 esquinas, bajando por el sendero a Gabiñay, Tarau, subirán al carretero principal 2 km de asfalto hasta llegar a la plaza central de la parroquia La Candelaria tomando nuevamente senderos que los llevarán a laguna Hotel y Laguna tazaron donde todos los corredores deberán registrar su paso regresando por chaquiñanes y pajonales hasta tomar el desvió en dirección a la Hacienda Releche continuamos por el sendero en dirección a la Laguna Amarilla del volcán El Altar donde recibirán un distintivo el cual deberá ser presentado en la llegada, de regreso en la pampada de Tiulcha a mano izquierda descenderán por los senderos de la Hacienda San Vicente terminando su trayecto en la Plaza Central de la parroquia La Candelaria. Nota: El corredor que no tenga el distintivo quedara automáticamente eliminado. Las leyendas nunca mueren, conquista la Montaña Sublime!!!
