About the Race

The opening race of BMTRC is a unique uphill challenge in pure vertical format 6 km with 1,000 meters of elevation gain. This is the only race in the BMTRC that does not start at Raca Monastery nor finish in Bajina Basta. The race begins in front of the mountaineering lodge in Rastiste, and the finish line awaits at the breathtaking Sjenic viewpoint, one of the most stunning locations overlooking Tara.
