XTRAIL Breitnau 2023

Mit dem Start in der Dorfmitte führt die Halbmarathon-Strecke zuerst über den Höhenzug „Wirbstein“ bevor es dann steil bergab durch die Ravennaschlucht mit ihren Trails, Hohstege, Brücken und Treppenstufen bis hinunter zum Bahnviadukt am Hofgut Sternen (Verpflegungsstelle) vorbei auf schmalen Wegen weiter bergab bis zur Posthalde geht. Nun beginnt der erste steile Anstieg ca. 300 Höhenmeter auf 1,5 km verteilt bis Alpersbach. Von dort geht es dann flach auf einem schmalen Panoramatrail 3 km in Richtung Hinterzarten. Nun beginnt wiederum ein Abstieg durch das Löffeltal bis zum Hofgut Sternen (Verpflegungsstelle). Jetzt beginnt der am schwierigsten zu laufende steile Anstieg ca. 350 Höhenmeter auf 1 km zum Piketfelsen. Von dort geht es dann leicht wellig durch die Wälder und Weiden zum Ziel am Fun-Park.

Starting in the village center, the half marathon route first leads over the Wirbstein ridge before then steeply descending through the Ravenna Gorge with its trails, elevated walkways, bridges, and steps down to the railway viaduct, past Hofgut Sternen, and then along narrow paths to Posthalde. Now begins the first steep climb, approximately 300 meters in elevation gain over 1.5 km to Alpersbach. From there, the route continues flatly for 3 km on a narrow panoramic trail towards Hinterzarten. Then begins another descent through the Loeffeltal valley to Hofgut Sternen. Now begins the most difficult climb, approximately 350 meters in elevation gain over 1 km to the Piketfelsen. From there, the route continues gently undulating through the woods and meadows to the finish at the Fun Park.
