TAUT-TERRAS DO ANCIAO ULTRA TRAIL 2025

TAUT – Terras do Ancião Ultra Trail, integra 6 provas competitivas, Dois dias de puro TRAIL num cenário em que a conjugação da arte com a paisagem a partir de um elemento natural que os caracteriza - a Pedra. Decorre nos dias 6, 7 e 8 de Março de 2025, já é uma referência a nível Nacional e continuaremos a manter essa referência com a 11ª edição de Trail Running, com partida em Ansião, onde está previsto a passagem pelas estradas e caminhos dos Concelhos de Penela (Freguesia da Cumieira e São João do Deserto), Figueiró dos Vinhos (Cercal, Arega e Aguda), Alvaiázere (Serra de Alvaiázere) e Pombal (Freguesia de Abiul e Serra de Sicó). Serão algumas centenas de atletas à procura dos “Territórios de Pedra” e a desfrutarem das serras São João do Deserto, das aldeias e dos belos trilhos da Serra de Sicó e das margens da Foz de Alge do rio Zêzere. Beleza e dureza não faltarão certamente e os apelos ao Anjo da Guarda surgirão, mas, no final, todos sairão rendidos aos encantos e recantos da região parte integrante da rede cultural Territórios de Pedra, os nossos magníficos maciços calcários serranos, onde as aldeias típicas, com as suas casas e muros de pedra solta, parcelam com os campos, perspetiva-se uma boa adesão das várias equipas de Trail da região, de todo o território nacional e além-fronteiras, como já aconteceu noutros eventos. Os dois dias de desporto, convívio e superação levam os atletas ao contacto direto com o património cultural e natural da região. que tem por objetivo divulgar e promover a prática desportiva na modalidade de Trail Running, mas também os territórios onde decorre o evento. Os percursos com uma extrema beleza natural e vasto património cultural, nomeadamente Anciao, que dá o nome ao evento. Não são fáceis, mas os trilhos e paisagens valem todo o esforço. -ANGEL CHALLENGE vai-te ficar na memória! - TAUTE XL Trail Ultra Endurance XL, partida às 08h00, dia 07 de Março, com direção à Serra de Sicó, passagem na freguesia de Abíul. Posteriormente passa na aldeias de Cabeça da Corte, sendo que até aqui o percurso é maioritariamente a subir e com single tracks bastante técnicos, principalmente aqueles que seguem na Serra de Sicó. Passagem pelos Poios, direcionando-se para a freguesia do Alvorge, o percurso segue para a freguesia da Cumieeira, posteriormente pela aldeia da Bouça e seguindo para a Capela de São João do Deserto, onde entramos num sobe e desce que tem tanto de belo como de duro, atingindo aqui a sua altitude máxima sensivelmente 1136m. A partir daqui a prova começa a descer já no sentido de Figueiró dos Vinhos, com passagem pela belíssima aldeia da Ferrarias de São João, seguindo para as aldeias de Cercal, Salgueiro da Lomba e Aldeia da Cruz. O percurso entra na Vila de Figueiró dos Vinhos com destino à Foz de Alge, junto ao rio, com passagem pelas imponentes Fragas de São Simão. Por fim a tão desejada "Subida do Anjo" e a prova segue já para o seu destino final, a meta no centro da vila de Ansião.

There will be a few hundred athletes looking for the Territories of Stone and enjoying the mountains of Sao Joao do Deserto, the villages and the beautiful trails of Serra de Sico and the banks of Foz de Alge and the Zezere River. There will certainly be no shortage of beauty and hardship, and appeals to the Guardian Angel will arise, but in the end, everyone will be overcome by the charms and hidden corners of the region, an integral part of the Territories of Stone cultural network, our magnificent limestone mountain massifs, where the typical villages, with their houses and loose stone walls, are interspersed with the fields. A good turnout is expected from the various Trail teams in the region, from all over the country and beyond, as has happened in other events. The two days of sport, socializing and overcoming challenges will bring athletes into direct contact with the cultural and natural heritage of the region. The aim of this event is to promote and promote the practice of Trail Running, as well as the territories where the event takes place. The trails are of extreme natural beauty and have a vast cultural heritage, particularly Anciao, which gives its name to the event. They are not easy, but the trails and landscapes are worth all the effort. ANGEL CHALLENGE will stay in your memory. The following description is intended to give a general orientation of the trails, the departures of all the trails are circular, starting and ending in the center of the village of Ansiao: - TAUTE XL Trail Ultra Endurance XL, starting at 8:00 am, on March 7th, heading towards Serra de Sico, passing through the parish of Abiul. Afterwards, it passes through the village of Cabeca da Corte, and until this point the route is mostly uphill and with very technical single tracks, especially those that follow Serra de Sico. After passing through Poios, heading towards the parish of Alvorge, the route continues to the parish of Cumieeira, then through the village of Bouca and on to the Chapel of Sao Joao do Deserto, where we enter an up and down that is as beautiful as it is tough, reaching its maximum altitude of approximately 1136m. From here the race begins to descend towards Figueiro dos Vinhos, passing through the beautiful village of Ferrarias de Sao Joao, continuing on to the villages of Cercal, Salgueiro da Lomba and Aldeia da Cruz. The route enters the town of Figueiro dos Vinhos and heads towards Foz de Alge, next to the river, passing through the imposing Fragas de Sao Simao. Finally the much-desired Subida do Anjo, and the race heads towards its final destination, the finish line in the centre of the town of Ansiao.
