本次赛事活动是由海阳市人民政府，海阳文化旅游发展集团主办，海阳招虎山景区管理有限公司、烟台落基体育有限公司承办的海阳历史首场国际越野赛，赛事起终点均在海阳招虎山森林公园南门， 共分4个组别， 42公里， 26公里， 10公里， 5公里。
