2026 Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships Bid Process

ITRA invites cities and regions to bid to host the 2026 Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships

The International Trail Running Association (ITRA) is thrilled to kick off the host bidding process for the 2026 Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships (APTRC). The APTRC will be held on a biennial basis, in even-numbered years.
 
We invite all organizers across the Asia Pacific region to submit their expressions of interest for hosting this prestigious event.
 
The APTRC is where the best trail runners in Asia Pacific will compete in individual and team categories, over distances of ~ 40 km and ~ 80km. There will also be a U23 category to promote trail running to the younger generation.
 
Bid Procedure Timeline:

- Bid Launch: November 8, 2024
- Expression of Interest Deadline: December 31, 2024
- Final Bid Application Deadline: March 31, 2025
- Event Award Announcement: No later than April 30, 2025
