How to follow the Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships

 

2024 Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships, Ulju, South Korea

 

The inaugural Asia Pacific Trail Running Championships will take place in Ulju, South Korea from October 25 to 26, 2024. With the Opening Ceremony taking place this Thursday (24th October), here is an overview on the championships and a guide on how best to follow all the action.


About the Championships

The inaugural Asia-Pacific Trail Running Championships are set to be the most competitive trail races in the region's history.

The event features three races:

  • U23 Race: 15.9 km with 1,182 m of elevation gain (4.5-hour time limit), for athletes aged 23 and under.
  • Short Trail Race: 41 km with 2,783 m of elevation gain (10-hour time limit).
  • Long Trail Race: 74 km with 4,787 m of elevation gain (18.5-hour time limit).

Each race includes men’s, women’s, individual, and team categories, with an overall team ranking as well.
