*  Respect for
others

To respect others, is to understand and accept their differences and it is to act in such a way as to not bother or hamper them. It is equally understanding that the race takes place in surroundings which have their own culture and traditions; it is consequently adopting the necessary "knowledge and understanding" in order to respect the local population, its culture and its customs.

Each runner also agrees to respect all people encountered during the course of the trail, who are also benefiting from the open country at the same time (other trail-runners, hikers, etc.).
Each runner agrees to know and respect the regulations of the race in which they have chosen to participate.

One of my results is missing!

When a runner has taken part in a trail race, the race organizer can upload the results of the race (at no cost) to his Organizer space so that we can publish them.  Uploading the results is the responsibility of the race organizer.

Once the result has been published, a runner file is created. There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to find your file or that a result does not appear in your profile:
  • You were omitted from the list filed by the race organizer;
  • The list has not been filed by the race organizer;
  • Your surname or first name, your date of birth and/or your nationality may have been wrongly entered, resulting in the creation of a new runner file.
In the first or the second case, please contact the race organizer.
In the third case, you can ask for your result to be added to your ITRA account and the results will be merged.

I can't find my score for the race that I ran.

I can't find my score for the race that I ran.

If your score is shown as "not yet available", it means that the score has not yet been calculated.

Our statistician audits the listed races manually to check that the results are consistent.  This final audit takes time and is the reason for any delays you may encounter between the publication of the results and of the scores for the race.

Please note that we process and publish results and scores in the following order:
  • "Elite" races (in order to update the world rankings);
  • ITRA member races;
  • Races with a large number of participants;
  • and dependent on the date when the results are submitted to us, not the date of the race.
We apologize for any delay and, to the best of our ability, endeavor to ensure that your records are updated as quickly as possible.

One of my races, for which I achieved a very good result, does not appear in the Performance Index.

One of my races, for which I achieved a very good result, does not appear in the Performance Index

  1. The individual scores for the runners in this race may not yet have been computed (see tab "Ranking" on your profile page - if this still shows "not yet available", the calculation has not yet been done).
  2. The result does not appear in your profile on itra.run because this page lists only your 5 best performances from the last 36 months according to the ITRA score.  The result that you are looking for has a lower score and is therefore not shown in your profile but does appear in your Track record.
To view all the results, click on the button Complete track record of the runner. This option is available only to holders of an ITRA account that is linked to the profile in question.  If necessary, carry out the steps given below for merging results.

I seem to have more than one profile.  How do I merge them?

I seem to have more than one profile.  How do I merge them?

You can solve any problems with respect to the results displayed in your profile, at no cost, by creating an ITRA account and linking it to your profile, as follows:
  1. Create (at no cost) or log in to an ITRA account on itra.run
  2. Click on "My page"> "Personal information" > "Linkages"
  3. Select "Link my account to a runner fiche"
  4. Tick each file with your name or your results and click on "Link the pages ticked".  If you do not find a (file/page?) with your name, try searching by inverting your surname and your first name or by not entering your date of birth or nationality.
  5. We also invite you to upload an official identity document (photo ID, driver's license...) so that you can access and correct any future anomalies.
Validating a linkage request may take several days.

Once your application has been approved, all your ITRA points and results will appear in one profile.

N.B. proof of identity will be required before you can have access from your own area to correct any future anomalies.
You can make the following corrections:
  • Merge existing duplicate profiles that correspond to your profile.
  • Delete a result that is not yours but appears in your profile.
  • Add a result that appears on another profile (i.e. that is not yours).

My request for the linkage of a profile/result has been refused.  Why?

My request for the linkage of a profile/result has been refused.  Why?

The result may already be linked to another ITRA account (one you set up earlier?).  If this is the case, contact us by email.

It is also possible that we could not verify that the result to be linked is yours because of inconsistencies in the information supplied.

Try uploading an ID to your account (My page > Information > Linkages > A runner file) in order to validate your identity, then repeat the linkage requestous.

If your request is still not accepted, contact us by email (contact@itra.run) with your username (ITRA account) and details of the profile to be linked.  Please also attach proof (diploma or certificate) of your result in the race in question.
