About the Race

You’ll begin at midnight on the coastal horn of Wales, high above the sea on Mynydd Mawr, staring out across the dark waters to the sacred island of Ynys Enlli (Bardsey Island) — the land of saints, silence, and stories. From there, 75 miles of coastal path, rugged trail, and wild, open land await. At mile 26, you’ll climb the three peaks of Yr Eifl, perfectly timed for a sunrise that will light up the mountains and your reason for being here. After that, it’s a remote inland stretch and a final return to the coast — before your journey ends inside the Tŷ Newydd Café & Bar, where supporters will track your progress live on-screen, and welcome you with warmth, food, and firelight.
