However, following a policy announced by the Korea National Park Service on December 5, 2025, trail running events are no longer permitted within national parks in order to enhance mountain safety, reduce inconvenience to hikers, and protect the natural environment. As a result, this year's race will feature an exciting new course connecting Ansan, Inwangsan, and Bugaksan, instead of the national park trails.
