About the Race

The Philippine Mountain Trail 14K is a 14 km mountain trail race in Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines, part of the Philippine Mountain Trail Festival, or PMTF, which also hosts the Hardcore 100 Miles, the first 100 mile trail race in the Philippines. Walkable and open to hikers as well as runners, it is the festival's most accessible distance and an ideal introduction to mountain trail events. The course covers the highlands with 938 m of total elevation gain, climbing to a high point of 1,880 m above sea level, and is supported by 1 aid stations. A generous 8 hour cut-off gives first-timers and walkers plenty of time to finish on trails of single track, dirt and gravel paths.
