This ITRA-certified mountain trail ultramarathon starts and finishes in Kayapa, Nueva Vizcaya, and carries runners deep into the highlands over 164.84 km with more than 9,500 m of total elevation gain. The course climbs to a high point of 1,947 m above sea level and is supported by 14 aid stations and six water-only stations. Less than 10 percent of the route runs on concrete roads. The rest follows single track trails, dirt and gravel paths, stream beds, and grasslands.
