Am ersten Tag läuft man von Gondo durch die imposante Gondoschlucht nach Simplon Dorf, dann zum Simplonpass und zum höchsten Punkt auf dem Bistinenpass (2417 m ü. M.) ins Nanztal zur Napoleonsbrücke oberhalb von Brig. Von der Saltinaschlucht geht's nochmals steil hinauf nach Ried-Brig, wo das Ziel wartet. Am zweiten Tag geht's von Ried-Brig auf dem legendären Stockalperweg und auf dem Talweg Ganter auf den Simplonpass, dann hinunter nach Simplon-Dorf und nach Gabi, wo ein happiger Aufstieg aufs Furggu wartet. Durchs Zwischbergental läuft man zurück nach Gondo.
On the first day the route leads from Gondo through the impressive Gondo Gorge to Simplon Village then up to the Simplon Pass and on to the highest point at the Bistinen Pass 2417 altitude descending into the Nanztal to the Napoleon Bridge above Brig From the Saltina Gorge there is another steep climb up to Ried Brig where the finish awaits On the second day the route goes from Ried Brig along the legendary Stockalper Trail and the Ganter Valley path up to the Simplon Pass then down to Simplon Village and on to Gabi where a demanding ascent to the Furggu Pass awaits The course then leads through the Zwischbergental back to Gondo
