Da Nanshan Trail Race 2026

The 18 km course features 1657 meters of elevation gain and 1664 meters of descent, characterized by frequent elevation changes and a high climbing density. The route places significant demands on cardiovascular endurance and lower-body strength. The terrain consists of a mix of paved roads, stair sections, and dirt trails. Approximately 5 km are paved, providing stable running conditions and recovery segments. Another 5 km consist of continuous stair climbing and descending, requiring strong joint stability and efficient pacing. The remaining 8 km are dirt trails with loose surfaces, curves, and rolling terrain, demanding good traction control and core stability. Although the course does not include high-altitude exposure or extreme technical hazards, the continuous elevation changes and varied terrain make it a typical urban mountain trail race. It is suitable for runners with prior road or trail running experience.
