Clonmel Trail 2026

The route starts and finishes in Clonmel town, 3km of road will lead into the first wood. MTB trails and some fire road to Carey's Castle before a long climb up through Russeltown Wood. You will be rewarded at the top by views of the Comeraghs, Knockmealdowns and Galtees Mountains. From here, you will head out onto open mountain and a fun descent before steadily climbing again before crossing the hills directly above the town, giving more stunning views of Clonmel and Sliabh na mBan. Passing the Holy Year Cross, it's all downhill to the finish.
